The hidden money
Ranking explainers will tell you Lowe's spoilage cover is "only up to $100." Lowe's own Terms & Conditions say up to $300 per incident. Home Depot's brochure says up to $300 per claim. This is why this site quotes documents, not explainers — and why the spoilage claim, made with the right proof, is real money sitting next to your repair claim.
| Home Depot | Lowe's | |
|---|---|---|
| Amount | Up to $300 per claim | Up to $300 per incident ("Restock Your Food Reward") |
| Trigger | Fridge/freezer mechanical failure | A covered failure of the refrigerator/freezer |
| Proof | Document the loss | "Documented proof of loss will be required" — the terms say it outright |
| Source | Official appliance brochure | Terms & Conditions, doc ELPP0009S-1219 |
Ask for the figure's basis in writing. If an adjuster quotes $100, quote the document back: the terms' own number is $300, and the burden is the proof of loss, not a lower cap. A written lowball is exactly what the regulator complaint exists for.
Count your own case. The free checker takes your store, your plan date, your repair history, and your dates — and returns your lemon count, your live clocks, and the money the plan owes. Run the checker →
The pages above are the map. The kit is the paperwork: the repair log that proves the count, the script for your administrator, and the complaint pack for when the stall continues.
One payment, yours to keep. We never ask for your store or plan-portal password — you file everything yourself. See everything inside the kit →
