The clocks

Repair past 14 days? Lowe's owes $50 — unless it's the fridge.

A small, real, almost-never-claimed benefit: if your product is not repaired within 14 days of the claim, Lowe's plan pays a one-time $50. And in the same sentence, the terms take it away from the appliance that matters most — refrigerators and freezers are expressly excluded. On a fridge, your money is a different benefit entirely.

The rule and its carve-out

Why the carve-out exists is not hard to guess — fridge repairs are the slowest and most common long stalls in the book. Name it for what it is, and claim the fridge benefits that do exist.

On a fridge, claim these instead

Claim the $50 (non-fridge)

Count 14 days from the claim date. On day 15 with no completed repair, claim in writing: the claim number, the claim date, the plan's 14-day payment by name. Keep the dated claim — like every benefit here, it joins the chronology if the larger fight escalates. The checker flags the day your claim crosses the line.

Count your own case. The free checker takes your store, your plan date, your repair history, and your dates — and returns your lemon count, your live clocks, and the money the plan owes. Run the checker →

The working papers for this fight
