The era pages
A five-year plan bought in January 2021 runs into 2026 — which means thousands of Home Depot plans in force today are not SquareTrade plans at all. They are Asurion legacy plans, administered under their own documents, through a different portal and phone tree. Current Home Depot pages will mislead you. This page is yours.
One ComplaintsBoard record from the legacy era: a range dead for a month, a claim closed, and the customer forced to open a third claim to start the process over — "Home Depot Protection Plan Warranty with Asurion insurance has failed again and I still need resolution." Two lessons ride on that story. First: escalate the claim you have; a fresh claim restarts the story. Second: legacy claims stall the same way current ones do, and the same doors end stalls — a written escalation, then a complaint to your state insurance department or attorney general's consumer division, with your plan document attached.
Count your own case. The free checker takes your store, your plan date, your repair history, and your dates — and returns your lemon count, your live clocks, and the money the plan owes. Run the checker →
The pages above are the map. The kit is the paperwork: the repair log that proves the count, the script for your administrator, and the complaint pack for when the stall continues.
